THE WINNING IDEA WAS TO DETACH US AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM THE CLASSIC CORRUGATED BOARD OF THE RETAIL AND RETAIL EXHIBITORS.
The choice fell on a strong cardboard for bookbinding, pressed in 2mm thickness! Why:
– has a “structure” comparable to plastic
– once double-sided with thick printed cardboard becomes very hard
– can be shaped, creased and engraved
Going ahead with the project:
– thanks to its rigidity and structure, we assumed that we could expose the real “product” (NOT JUST THE IMAGE)
– for logistical needs the counter and the product to be exhibited were packed in two different packages
– we have planned to print the shape of the product (reduced within a few millimetres)
– so even the less experienced customer could position and fix the product in the correct position
– we were able to travel the display completely flat (in a 1,5cm thick box)
– …… packed in coded card boxes, with base and back wrapped in shrink film together with simple instructions
